Sarah joined The Vet Centre in Waipu in 2019. Previously, Sarah worked in a dairy practice in Northern Waikato, before heading overseas for a few years as a mixed veterinary locum. After travelling half the globe by yacht, she landed in Northland where she lives with her husband, dog and two kids. Sarah enjoys all aspects of vetting and the veterinary business, but is a dairy vet at heart with an interest in mastitis, disease prevention, and finding practical solutions to animal health problems on farm.
When not on farm doing clinical work, Sarah relishes in helping the young budding vets, vet students and techs learn and grow within the practice. Outside of work you’ll find her at the beach, running or with a cocktail – cause life is all about balance.
