I grew up running around the bush on the West Coast of the South Island. I got my first pony at 10 and have been riding ever since.
I have been working as a mixed animal vet in Northland since I graduated in 1995 where I enjoy the variety of working with all kinds of species. I have a post graduate qualification in dairy cattle medicine, and I have trained in equine dentistry.
Away from work, I spend time on our beef and dairy farms, I enjoy tramping and exploring new places, horse riding, and gardening. I am also involved in the local A&P show.
