Sue joined the Waipu clinic in December 2019. She has had a varied career in the Veterinary world, having worked in many different practices in NZ and in the UK. This has ranged from her first position in mixed practice at what used to be the Rotorua Vet Club, a period in 100% large animal practice with an emphasis on dairy and deer in the Bay of Plenty, many nights at the bottom of the cliff in Veterinary Emergency clinics, stints of locum work in many parts of NZ through to being a practice owner on Waiheke Island.

I have never liked to live far from water so the Beautiful Bream Bay is home now. I look forward to getting to know you and being involved with caring for your beloved companion animals and helping in times of need where I can. You will also see me riding Gatsby, my St James Stationbred horse on Uretiti Beach - sometimes at dawn or in the moonlight. Otherwise, my cat Zillah and Yorkshire Terrier D’Angelo Barksdale live a pretty quiet life.
