Andy has been doing small animal vetting since well before the time dogs were domesticated. Or so he tells us! A South African graduate, he has worked in multiple overseas countries in both general companion animal practice and for a time providing scientific support for the companion animal portfolios of global pharmaceutical companies. Andy’s veterinary interests are wide-ranging, driven by a deep sense of curiosity and a desire ‘to make it better’- or prevent a pet from getting ill in the first place! When pressed though, he will admit a particular interest in pharmacology, diagnostics, infectious disease, and surgery.

The four-legged members of his family include a 19-year-old tortoiseshell cat, a ginger female tabby which is slowly shredding every bit of house furniture it can get its claws into, and an 18-month-old golden retriever whose ears appear to be solely for decorative purposes!
