I grew up on a sheep and beef block in the Rodney district, spending a large amount of my time working with animals; specifically, sheep, cattle, and gun dogs, not to mention a myriad of pets. Because of this, mixed veterinary work was a logical next step for me and coming up to our slice of Northland in 2018 as a new graduate has allowed me to keep up my passion of working with all sorts of animals.

I still spend a lot of time with all species, with a particular interest in imaging, medicine and surgery both on and off farm. Outside of the job, I spend my time surfing, reading, and exercising.
